Our scholarships are open to all high school students residing in WNCW’s seven counties who are furthering their education in an agriculture-related field. We believe in supporting the youth working hard to continue the agricultural lifestyle. We donate to fairs and events where their efforts are seen. We partner with Nevada Farm Bureau’s Ag in the Classroom program. These occur in local schools, allowing us to teach students about cattle and their numerous by-products. Community outreach and education are essential to us. We attend local events to provide information about cooking with beef and its nutritional importance. We even host blood drives to "beef up the blood supply" providing participants with a nutrient-packed beef morsel! We assist culinary departments with beef for students to learn how to cook and incorporate beef into their recipes. In addition, we donate beef to events so everyone in attendance can have a delicious meal!
